Barbaro Suffered too Long

Eight months after shattering his leg, Barbaro was euthanized Jan. 30, 2007. Following multiple surgeries in an attempt to save Barbaro’s life, doctor’s finally came to the realization that the horse would never fully recover and live a normal life.
